Idiots...Legalize Weed

An exhaustive search of the literature finds no deaths induced by Marijuana. The US Drug Abuse Warning Network (DAWN) records instances of drug mentions in medical examiners report's & though Marijuana is mentioned, it is usually in combination with alcohol or other drugs. Marijuana Alone Has Not Been Shown To Cause An Over Dose Death. People would not have a problem being about to walk in a store & have a Variety of Marijuana, & Pay the sales tax... As Long As It Has Quality. Quatity & Quality is what it's all about.

Yes, to ignore its benefit is unjust.

i have ADHD, Paranoid schizophrenia, dyslexia, dysgraphia, and manic suicidal depresson, and a victum of fullblown post tramatic psychosis. i went to a doctor and he prescribed a pill regiment that replaced breakfast in the morning, and they made me want to die... all of them. i started to smoke pot and i was only "hungry, happy, and sleepy." i started to smile and my life didn't suck so bad, and i eventually worked my way up, and climbed out of my dark little hole and got a girl. and even though i eventually had to break up with her, i stayed on my feet cause i was smoking weed the whole time.

Legalize WEED

Alcohol kills ten times the amount of people in a year, than weed in a life time. Weather its medical, kush, or fuckin dirt, ITS NATURAL. It calms, soothes, & benefits more than any other NON NATURAL product. LEGALIZE MARIJUANA!!

Yes

To me it seems that texas government could benefit off of marijuana. the tax that they would be able to charge on it would be nice, and i wouldnt mind paying and avoid the work of having to set and appointment

Try to sound less ignorant people...

Every state should mock the current Marijuana laws of California. Marijuana can be used for a countless number of personal ailments/issues and it is absolutely no one's right, especially the government, to tell an individual what he/she is allowed to do with their own body, as long as the person poses no threat to any other individual. I am tired of funding a system that is so obviously out of touch with the current ideology of the civilian population. The time has come not only for a redesign of state drug laws but also federal. 97% of Marijuana arrests, in the last year alone, was for non-violent possession. This is a gross misallocation of our public funds, time, and effort. When an individual has reached an age where they can have an intelligent conversation with a medical provider I see no reason why it should not be an option for treatment. We live in an era where there are many more "legal" prescription drug addicts than illegal drug users (no citation needed). Regulate it.

OFCOURSE

Will take a huge load off of border patrol(save money there) since we will not have to rely on mexican cartels to bring it in(will reduce crime rates here and in tons of border cities(i might be able to safely visit mexico again). The gov can tax it. It will reduce the cost. And will let it continue to help medically(we have not even tapped into its full potential

YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES AND YES!

Legalization would be beneficial for Texas for so many reasons, after all, look what it did for CA! It's Cali's #1 cash crop. The Texas economy would DRAMATICALLY improve due to Marijuana's Taxation. Think about it: less tax dollars will go towards nonviolent marijuana users that are behind bars and more money will be coming into the state instead. Its citizens will no longer have to go through drug cartels, which will heavily increase American saftey, due to marijuana being the #1 sought after 'drug'. Lets face it: The policy on drugs is a joke. People are going to always strive to get medicated. And they will succeed in one way or another, whether they are allowed to are not. So ask yourselves, would you rather watch your citizens put themselves at risk by huffing whatever they can find, taking nutmeg, drinking cough syrups, using laced weed, risk getting killed on the streets to get it, etc. OR would you rather regulate a drug thats never killed anyone as well as make a profit? YESSSSSS!!!!!

of course . the crime rate would be down and especially all the people with medical conditions need it. all of the medication there taking never works and need something 100% natural. people wont have to worry about getting cought or anything in a crimes matter. and also people would be verry happy(: im not saying people should go over the line with it but even a kickback here and there should be aloud. just think about all of the positive outcomes of legalizing weed. and its not like there is anything wrong with it.Texas Legalization!!!!
