2011 Via Colori Street Painting Festival

Here two days, gone forever. Houston, we have street art! The Houston Via Colori ® Street Painting Festival is back. Watch as over 200 dynamic artists transform the streets of Downtown into massive chalk murals right before your eyes. For two days you can enjoy great art, music, food and fun for free – benefitting The Center for Hearing and Speech. When it’s all washed away, you’ll ask yourself, “Did that really happen?” For more information contact Ramsay McCoy at rmccoy@centerhearingandspeech.org When: Saturday, November 19 – 10am-6pm Sunday, November 20 – 10am-5pm Where: Sam Houston Park Downtown 1100 Bagby – Houston, TX 77002 713-523-3633

Thanks for the information

I appreciate information on where to go to participate in celebrating July 4th. A lot of times people stay at home because they do not know where to go or because of the cost. These celebrations are open to everyone and most are free.
