How To Get an EZ TAG
Do you use the Sam Houston Tollway and Beltway 8 on a reguar basis? Are you tired of digging for change and having to wait behind slow cars? Get an EZ TAG, which will save you time and money. It even works on the Fort Bend Tollway. Difficulty: Easy Time Required: 15 minutes to apply. Here's How:- Apply for your Harris County EZ TAG online.
- You can also have an application mailed to you: call (281) 875-EASY. Fill it out completely and return it to the EZ TAG Store address on the form.
- Your EZ TAG will be mailed to you complete with mounting instructions. You can also stop by any of our three EZ TAG Stores to apply and pick up your EZ TAG the same day.
- After you receive your EZ TAG, clean the inside of your windshield and make sure that it is dry before attempting to apply your EZ TAG.
- Read the instructions on how to apply your EZ TAG to your windshield. Improper installation can result in violations being posted to your account.
Tips:- You can also visit your nearest EZ Tag Store in order to receive your EZ TAG immediately.
- Your EZ TAG will work on all lanes of the Dallas North Tollway, the President George Bush Turnpike, the Addison Airport Toll Tunnel and the Mountain Creek Lake Bridge. DFW International Airport will not accept your EZ TAG.
- The EZ TAG program allows motorists to prepay their tolls using a major credit card or direct debit payment option. The EZ TAG itself is a small credit-card sized device that adheres to the inside of the windshield. Tolls are electronically deducted from their account. When the EZ TAG account reaches the minimum balance level, it automatically recharges (or debits) the customer's credit card or bank account to bring it back to the original deposit amount.
- With EZ TAG there is no minimum usage requirement.
