Biggio will probably be the first player inducted into the Hall of Fame to have played his entire career for the Houston Astros, and he will be the first player inducted into the Hall who will be wearing an Astros cap on his plaque. He is the only Astros player to finish his career with over 3,000 hits. He won four Gold Gloves for defensive excellence, five Silver Sluggers for hitting excellence, and was on seven NL All-Star teams. He played 20 seasons with the club, and he was an Opening Day starter at either catcher, second base, or centerfield for 19 of those seasons.
