The Houston Astros offer various behind-the-scenes tours of Minute Maid Park. The one-hour ballpark tours features exclusive looks at Union Station, which houses the offices of the Houston Astros, the broadcasting booth and/or the press box, the Astros' or visitors' dugout, the luxury suites and much more.
When Does Minute Maid Park Have Tours?
Public Walkup Tours are featured throughout the year, from Monday through Saturday. The tours times are 10 a.m., 12 p.m., and 2 p.m, but the Astros advise you to call ahead before heading to the ballpark in case an event prevents a tour that day. You can contact the Astros for tour information by calling 713-259-TOUR. Prices for this tour are $9 for adults, $7 for seniors and $5 for children ages 3-14.
What is the Early Bird Tour?
The Astros also offer an Early Bird Tour. This tour features the same activities as the Public Walkup Tour. However, it also allows you to enter the park before game time while offering you the opportunity to watch batting practice from the Diamond Club Seats. This tour begins one hour prior to the opening of the doors for the general public on game day. You must have a ticket to the game to go on this tour. The tour is limited to the first 75 fans. It begins in Union Station lobby. Prices for this tour are $12 for adults, $10 for seniors and $8 for children ages 3-14.
