NCAA Tournament at a Glance
The NCAA Tournament is held in the Spring of every year. It is a single elimination basketball tournament. There are 65 teams invited to play in it each year. The tournament is organized by the National Collegiate Athletic Association. It is also referred to as March Madness.
NCAA Tournament Sweet Sixteen
In 2010, Houston will host four games in the NCAA tournament. These four games will take place in the Regionals section of the tournament, which means they be part of the NCAA Sweet Sixteen and NCAA Elite Eight. There are four separate regional qualifiers. The NCAA tournament games played in Houston will be the South regionals.

The teams and times for the NCAA tournament Elite Eight schedule will be determined after the Sweet Sixteen games have been played. The Elite Eight games will be played on Sunday, March 27th.
