The Houston Rodeo concert series is always one of the biggest draws of the events. Each year, the rodeo brings in platinum-selling, award winning musicians known the world over. 1. Toby Keith
Monday, February 25 Though your kids might know him as “that guy from the truck commercials,” Toby Keith is a country music icon. He is a double platinum singer/songwriter and has collaborated with such musical legends as Sting.
2. Gary Allen
Tuesday, February 26 Platinum recording artist Gary Allan is responsible for such hit albums as Used Heart for Sale and See if I Care. Allan entered the world of country music in 1996 with the release of "Her Man".
3. Alan Jackson
Wednesday, February 27 Alan Jackson is a Hollywood Walk of Fame inductee and member of the Grande Ole Opry since 1991. Jackson is also recipient of 16 Academy of Country Music Awards, 17 Country Music Association Awards and 2 Grammy's. He has performed for a total of over 1 million Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo viewers.
4. Zac Brownn Band
Thursday, February 28 Zac Brown Band first made a name for themselves with the release of a single entitled "Chicken Fried". The band has since gone on to collect major accolades including two Grammy Awards. The Zac Brown Band will perform for the third time at Rodeo Houston.
5. Mary J. Blige
Friday, March 1 Reigning Queen of Hip-Hop Soul and 9-time Grammy Award winner Mary J. Blige will return to Houston for Black Heritage Day at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.
6. Brantley Gilbert
Saturday, March 2 Country artist Brantley Gilbert is the voice behind Halfway to Heaven, the single (and album) inspired by the artist's brush with death when he was in a major car accident while under the influence. His first #1 single was :Country Must Be Country Wide".
7. Demi Lovato
Sunday, March 3 Demi Lovato received her first big break with her role as Mitchie Torres on Disney's Camp Rock. . She has since released 2 albums and received several awards including Teen Choice Awards for both music and TV.
8. Styx
Monday, March 4 "Mr. Roboto", "Come Sail Away" and "Too Much Time on My Hands" are just a few of the hit singles this legendary band is known for.
9. Lady Antebellum
Tuesday, March 5 Multiple Grammy Award-winning trio Lady Antebellum will perform for the fifth time at the 2013 Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. Lady Antebellum is the group behind the album and popular single, "Need You Now" which continues to be aired on Top 40 radio stations throughout the U.S.
