Dewberry Farms is located just a few miles west of Katy in Brookshire, TX. This place has something for everyone to enjoy all year long as well as additional seasonal attractions. For Halloween, choose the perfect pumpkin from a 16-acre pumpkin patch. And getting there is part of the fun as well - farm wagon rides take pumpkin pickers to and from the patch. Be sure to try and make your way through the nearby 8-acre corn maze. Other thrilling activities for the little ones include the giant roller slide, a zip line, pedal carts, calf roping and a 12-foot high mountain made entirely of hay bales.

The hay rides at Oil Ranch are a just a small part of their annual Pumpkin Patch and Scarecrow Festival held during the entire month of October. Visit the ranch during this time and also take pick a favorite from thousands of pumpkins and marvel at 60 fully decorated scarecrows.
Visitors over 24 months pay a $12.95 entrance fee that includes full access to all activities available on the ranch. Hours vary according to weather conditions.

TGR Exotic's Pumpkin Patch on The Wild Side runs the entire month of October and features tractor-pulled hay rides, pumpkin painting, camel rides and more. Visitors can also meet face-to-face with camels, kangaroos and several other exotic breeds of animals.
Pumpkin Patch on the Wild Side is open Saturdays from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sundays from 12 p.m.to 5 p.m. Weekday visits are by appointment only.

Harvest Festival, a fall family tradition at Matt Family Orchard offers campfires, a massive pumpkin patch, "King of the Hill" hay stack, hay rides through a 145-acre wooded trail and dressed scarecrows. Other opportunities for fun on the grounds are swing sets, board games, tetherball and volleyball courts. Individuals are welcome on Fridays and Saturdays in October.
For groups of 15 and over, reservations and a deposit are required. Call for rates and hours.

The Fall Festival and Corn Maze at P-6 Farms is truly remarkable. IT features the Lone Star Corn Maize, a Texas size series of twists and turns engraved in over 8 acres of corn. Get to the maze via tractor-pulled hay ride and when you're done, try your hand at the water cannon, jump like crazy on the gigantic tarp trampoline, or barrel your way down the tube slides.
The festival runs from October 1 to November 27. Friday hours are 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturdays the festival runs from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sundays are 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
