Thanksgiving often seems like a tiny bump in the road to Christmas. But parades, Santa stations and tree lightings on and around Turkey Day make Thanksgiving in Houston a great opportunity to gear up for the big holiday season. Browse this list of exciting things to do over Thanksgiving break. The little ones will love seeing the zany fictitious first-grader Junie B. Jones in Main Street Theater's rendition of Jingle Bells, Batman Smells. See what happens when Junie B. pulls her enemy's name for the class Secret Santa exchange. Fun stuff. This show is intended for children in grades kindergarten and up. Children and sleeping babies under age 3 are not allowed.
