The Arabesque Fest was founded by Houston's award-winning Houston Palestine Film Festival in 2010. Arabesque Fest aims to celebrate the richness and diversity of Arab culture. It features live Arabic music, an array of Middle Eastern cuisine prepared by local family and friends of HPFF and more. Children's activities include a moonwalk, face painting and more. Proceeds benefit the Houston Palestine Film Festival, winner of the 2009 Best Film Festival award from Houston Press.

Featured Artists to Perform
At the Arabesque Fest, there will be numerous performances by Arab musicians, including Jabbour, DJ Simiyu, Kareem, Khristina Koutsoudous, Dabka Troupe and more.
Battle of Hummus
Local restaurants from across Houston have joined in the fun to be a part of the ultimate hummus showdown. Each participating restaurant will enter their classic hummus recipe into the running and the Arabesque Fest's panel of judges will be on hand during the festival to judge the entries.

Admission for adults is $5. Admittance for children 12 and under.
