Festa Italiana
Celebrate with Houston’s Italian community downtown as they toast to wine, food and music from their home country. I assume the food will be slightly more authentic than Olive Garden’s.

Fort Bend County Fair
Near 200,000 visitors stop by the Fort Bend County Fair, making it one of the largest in Texas. Food, rides, dancing, a parade, auctions and more make this a perfect day out for the family. (It lasts ten days.)

Fiestas Patrias
After you’ve finished celebrating with the Italians, stop by Fiestas Patrias to celebrate Mexican Independence Day. Expect all of the typical festival fares, with a South of the border flare.
