Sambuca: New Year's Eve Dinner and Dancing

Soak in the downtown charm of Sambuca this New Year's Eve and enjoy a 4-course meal, live music from Big Daddy and fine American cuisine. Scott Gertner's at Houston Pavillions (replacement for former Houston nightlife staple Skybar) is helping Houstonians usher in the new year with soul. Sway to the sounds of the legendary Scott Gertner Band, then hit the dance floor as DJ La Rosa spins a mix of hip-hop and R&B. Guests can expect a full dinner menu as well as a midnight champagne toast. Admission is $25 from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and $30 any time after 8 p.m.

What better way to celebrate the new year than with a prom-themed ball. NYE Prom 2013 will deliver all the traditional new year's eve fares including hors d'oeuvres, champagne and balloon drops, but with a high school twist.
