Scream on the Green – It’s a free outdoor Halloween party for Houston at Discovery Green. Costume contests for adults, kids and even dogs! Zoo Boo at the Houston Zoo – This kid-friendly Halloween event turns the zoo into a Halloween party. Kids pick a pumpkin from the pumpkin patch to paint, go trunk-or-treating, participate in a costume parade, and visit the Lost Species Cemetery. Dates run October 16, 17, 23, 24, 30 and 31. Admission is included with zoo ticket.
