Continental Club: Power Ballads Sing-Along

Aurora Picture Show and Theater Under the Stars will present a special screening of TUTS' Rock of Ages. Henry Mazza of the Alamo Drafthouse will lead the audience in a hysterical sing-along featuring music videos from the tackiest of '80's hair bands. Fun begins at 8 p.m.

KTSU-FM and Discovery Green will host Blues and Burgers, a lunchtime concert series featuring blues, jazz and zydeco music. This week's performance is from Diunna Greenleaf and Blue Mercy. Show begins at noon and ends at 1 p.m.

Humble Convention Center: Texas Beer Fest

Spend the day tasting your choice of over 200 local and national beers at this one-day event. The festival takes place outdoors in covered tents so come rain or shine. Tickets are $35 in advance and $40 the day off.

The Houston International Festival, (or iFest) is a 10-day multi-cultural music and arts festival held annually in the streets and parks of downtown Houston. Today (Mother's Day), kids 12 and under get in free when they arrive with their mommies.
