Hip Hop for HIV Awareness

The City of Houston along with 97.9 The Box present host Houston Hip-Hop for HIV Awareness, an annual campaign promoting education and screening for the HIV virus. For eight days, Houstonians can take advantage of free HIV and other STD testing at various sites throughout the Greater Houston area. The campaign comes to a close with a concert held at the Reliant Arena. Below you'll find all everything you need to know about getting your free HIV test and ticket to the closing concert.

The 2011 Hip-Hop for HIV Awareness Concert includes Ace Hood, Kirko Bangz, Big K.R.I.T., Beat King, Romeo and more.

How much do tickets cost?
Admission to the Hip-Hop for HIV Awareness concert is free with proof of your HIV test.

What should I bring to get my free HIV test?
You MUST have a valid photo ID (driver's license, state, military or school ID). Set aside at least 2 hours for the test and be prepared for blood to be drawn. HII testing results will be given the same day.
