This year, Easter falls on Sunday, April 8. Easter can be a perfect opportunity to reconnect with family and friends over a delightful meal. Leave the cooking and clean-up to the experts and make this Easter a stress-free experience when you and your group by attending the following Easter brunches. While most restaurants listed do not enforce a strict dress code, it is best that you contact them individually to confirm the proper attire. Reservations are required.

1. *17 Restaurant @ Alden Hotel
*17 will offer a brunch buffet that includes one glass of either champagne or mimosa.

Appetizers: breakfast pastries, Gulf shrimp cocktail, mixed green salad, omelet station, assorted breads including mini bagels, tomato and mozzarella salad, traditional smoked salmon

Entrée (choice of one): apple wood smoked duck breast, cannelloni of duck leg with artichoke and brown bread sauce, Country Quiche, seared flounder, double pork chop

Desserts: sliced fruit, cheesecake, lemon pound cake, chocolate pot de crème, apple tart

2. Spindletop-Hyatt Regency Hotel
This buffet ends with a trip to Easter Wonderland where guests of all ages can have their picture taken with the Easter Bunn, build their own sundae and enjoy all the cupcakes, chocolate eggs and other candy treats they can handle.

Appetizers: southwest shrimp gazpacho, zucchini blossom stuffed crab, arugula, avocado, goat cheese and pancetta salad

You will need to make reservations quite early to secure a table at this popular Easter Brunch buffet.

Cold Buffet: salads, mixed greens, fresh fruit and vegetables, shrimp, herring and pate

Carving Table: eggs Benedict, quiche, roasted chicken, goulash, baked ham, roast beef, homemade sausage in beer mustard sauce, bratwurst and polish sausage, cabbage rolls, noodles, green beans and sauerkraut

Dessert: cheese cake, carrot cake, apple strudel, German chocolate cake

One of Houston’s long-standing favorites, Brennan’s will host a Sunday Brunch complete with Easter Bunny visits, egg hunting and a bunny petting station.
