About the Museum of Fine Arts

Located in the heart of Houston's Museum District, the Museum off Fine Arts is a cultural facility comprised of two museum buildings, two art schools, two decorative art centers and a sculpture garden. Collections include:

Helen Williams Drutt Collection: internationally recognized collection of modern jewelry from America, Germany, Australia and Japan.

Rienzi Collection: philanthropists Carroll and Harold Masterson's collection of fine 18th and early-19th century European decorative art and paintings

From the Deserts and Forests: visual history of the Pueblo people of Northern Arizona and New Mexico including textiles, watercolors, and dolls

Five Centuries of Masterpieces on Paper: rare prints by Rembrandt, Jaque Bellange, Peter Bruegel and Camille Pissaro

Glassell Collection of African Gold: extensive collection of works from the royal courts of Ghana and the Ivory Coast
