Houston St. Patrick's Day Parade at a Glance

The first St. Patrick's Day Parades actually date all the way back to the 1880s. Houston's St. Patrick's Day Parade was first established back in the 1960s, and 2010 will see the 51st annual Houston St. Patrick's Day Parade meander through downtown Houston, TX. It has grown to be one of the nation's largest St. Patrick's Day Parades. It lasts approximately two hours. The theme for 2010 will be "Celebrating the Irish Family." It is free of charge for the public to attend.

Start Date, Time and Location

The St. Patrick's Day Parade will begin on March 13, 2010 at 12 p.m. at the clock tower at Minute Maid Park.
