This month of June is chock full of fun ways to escape summer heat, mosquitos and teenage boredom. Up first of course, is the 2012 Free Press Summer Fest at Eleanor Tinsley Park on Saturday, June 2 and Sunday, June 3. This year's lineup includes Erykah Badu, Snoop Dogg and local favorites Robert Ellis and The Tontons. Summer Fest welcomes all ages.
And later this month, grown-ups be a part of the 2nd annual Houston Beer Festival on Saturday, June 9. Sample over 200 beers while enjoying live music and silly games. But take heed, most of these games promise a cash prize to the winner.
