Randy Quaid Arrested, George O'Malley from Grey's Anatomy Dies

Thursday was a rough night for actors. On the same evening that Houston native Randy Quaid and his wife were arrested for skipping out on a $10,000 hotel bill, George O'Malley from TV hospital drama Grey's Anatomy died.

Of course, it was only the Grey's Anatomy character that died, and pretty much everyone knew that somebody was going to die because it was the season premiere of Grey's Anatomy and that's just how the show works (also, George O'Malley was never a terribly interesting character), but still, this has been a rough patch for famous folks. I don't think we need to rehash the list of everyone that has died/been arrested/was made to look like a buffoon, suffice it to say it's pretty long.

If we did do a poll though, which famous person's story has been the most intriguing these past few months? It has to be Michael, right?

What’s crazy to think about is that a guy who was driving around town on a motorcycle with a shotgun in a guitar case would not even finish in the top three in that poll. Love it.

Wonder what’s up with Randy Quaid and his wife? Sounds like it might just be a case of them being cheapskates and thinking that they are above the law. Since he was able to post $40,000 bail, it doesn’t seem to be an issue of not having the money.

@Jake: Yeah, that’s pretty nuts.

@Rebecca: That’s a good point. I don’t think there’s going to be a reasonable response to it.
