Eat with a Discount at 138 Houston Restaurants

Wednesday June 24, 2009
Got an email from faithful reader (and fervent emailer) Tiffany today, saying that I should not pass up the opportunity to tell you all about a site called restaurant.com. I checked it out, and true to her word, it's solid.

Essentially, you can just plug in the zip code of the area where you live into its search engine, and the site will then pull up a ton (or a 100, whatever) of restaurants that are offering discounts through that particular site. It's pretty neat, and some of the savings are pretty remarkable. (I'm planning on ordering a certificate to eat Azteca's Bar and Grill. It's a $10 certificate for only $3, players.) Check the site out here.

And thanks again, Tiffany. And if anyone else out there has any information they want to pass along, feel free to hit me up at houston.guide@about.com. I'm always home.
