Because I know I always celebrate President's Day by looking at animals, I thought I'd pass this along to you: Monday, February 16th, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., a trip to the Houston Zoo will be sans admission fee. That's right, you and yours can visit the best zoo in town absolutely free. President's Day is one of the five days out of the year that the zoo does not charge an admission, the others being MLK Day, Columbus Day, the Friday after Thanksgiving, and New Year's Day.

If you make it out there, make sure you swing by and check out Miles, the zoo's adorable three-week-old baby giraffe. (See his website, complete with videos, here.)
